Dr./Eng. Precious Chisala

Dr./Eng. Precious Chisala is a highly accomplished and driven Mining/Civil Engineer with over 10 years of combined industrial and academic experience. She possesses a distinguished educational background, holding a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK, an MSc in Civil Engineering with Geotechnics and Project Management from the same esteemed institution, and a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the Copperbelt University, Zambia.

Dr. Chisala's professional career has been marked by significant contributions in ground support and reinforcement, project management, and mentorship. At Lubambe Mine Ltd, she excelled in dual roles as a Geotechnical Engineer/Associate Consultant and Project Engineer. Her expertise in ground support and reinforcement ensured the safe and efficient operation of the mine. Additionally, her insightful study of the mine's personnel transport system to underground operations resulted in impactful recommendations that were successfully implemented. She is currently a Lecturer and Researcher at the Copperbelt University, Zambia.
