As LauncHER Engineers Hub we believe in giving back to the community. With the objective to encourage
the girl child to take up careers in STEM, debunking the stereotypical myth surrounding engineering.
On the 15th of June, LauncHER Engineers Hub attended an event organized by Whisper a Dream Foundation in partnership with Bayport to offer donations and support in line with menstrual hygiene among girls in schools and the community. The event was held at Race Corse Primary and Secondary School in Chimwemwe, Kitwe, where the girls received donations of menstrual hygiene products as gifts from the sponsors.
LauncHER was invited to give career talk on the different fields of engineering, encouraging the
pupils to take up a career in STEM. During the interactive session, LauncHER was able to give out
stickers, book marks to the pupils who showed interest and answered the questions posed

Through mentorship, skills development, networking and a commitment to diversity we hope to LauncHER to shape the future with resilience, responsibility and innovation.
